The inaugural function of student union council was held on 06-08-2016 in B.E.M. Centenary Hall. The chief guest was Mr. Vittal A. Principal Kittel Memorial P.U.College, Mangaluru. Accompanied by other guests of the day, Mr. Alwyn Ananda, Treasurer, B.E.M. Educational Institutions. Janab A.M. Rafiuddin Secretary, B.E.M. Old Students Association and Mr. Vijaya Kumar member of Old Students Association. That M.C. of the programme was Miss Swathi student of II PUC. Mrs. Swapna Manish, Lecturer in Political Science escorted the guests to the dias followed by invocation of God by our students.
Mr. Roshan Kumar, Principal welcomed the guests and was followed by lighting the lamp by the chief guest along with other guests of the dias.
Student welfare officer Mrs.Swapna Manish performed the oath taking ceremony. Mr. Vittal A. delivered his inaugural speech where he stressed about the leadership qualities among the students which helps for the building of our nation.
The presidential address was given by Mr.Alwyn Ananda who congratulated the newly bearer.
Progarmme was concluded with vote of thanks by Miss Supritha of II PUC followed by national anthem and students union started its journey towards another successful year.
